Deadpool: I really like Deadpool. I make no excuses. It's hilarious and heartbreaking and everything I love about stories. This particular iteration of Deadpool is no different. He's finally a part of the Avengers and hasn't changed one goddamn bit! This latest one sees him confront the knowledge that he is the one who killed is parents while under the influence of evil men. He fights Sabretooth, who is willing to allow him to believe that Sabretooth is the one who killed them. A sweet little story. We also get to see Wade interact with his daughter(aaawwwww...ish). A great read.

Spiderwoman: I'll be honest, I did not expect to like this one. At all. Spiderwoman is pregnant and training her temporary replacement on the Avengers. Yawn. But then again, I have no idea what it's like to be a woman, or to be a superhero, or to be pregnant. So I'm gonna fuckin' suck it up and read. And let me tell, you, I am a pig. A cis, straight, white pig. And I am sorry. I'm really trying to be better. Read this comic. No, it's not gonna make you rethink your life or anything, this is just one fictional superhero new mother who is figuring out how to balance her superhero life with the mother she wants to be. Not every mom is gonna be like this, and that's fine. But damn is it an interesting read.

Howard the Duck: Hehehe, oh Howard. You fucking dick. See him blunder through one disaster after another, but somehow come out on top every time. I don't know what I was expecting, I'll be honest. But these stories so far really make me sympathize with Howard's desire to return home. We also meet the female versions of Howard and Rocket Raccoon, and learn their heart wrenching backstory. We learn a little bit about Gwenpool as well, and her interactions with Howard. Check it out!

Wonder Woman: *deep fucking breath*

Okay, as I've said before, I love Wonder Woman. This comic is no exception. This story-line has seen Diana become Queen of the Amazons as well as the fucking GOD OF WAR. She, of course, is not wholly comfortable with this role and it's bloodthirsty connotations. It is amazing to see her internal struggles with that, as well as her interactions with her new-found family, both the mortals and the Greek Gods. Seriously, I don't want to give a lot away, but READ WONDER WOMAN. Seriously. Anytime you have the chance, read Wonder Woman. Any one that you can find. I myself am frantically trying to get my hands on Wonder Woman: Earth One. Maybe I'll review it. Maybe I'll review it and cry. Who knows?
